I have a property in Havana (city not beach) and would like to acquire another in Trinidad (city not beach), is this somehow possible legal? I know that I have rights to a property in the city and one at the beach. There I legally to acquire two properties in different cities?
According to Article No. 2 of Decree-Law No. 288 dated October 28, 2011 amending Law No. 65 of the Housing Act, dated December 23, 1988, states that it is legitimate to have in addition to the occupation permanent ownership of a house located in area for a relaxing break or summer, but in turn article No. 83.1 of the Decree, states that the ownership of the houses located in areas designated break or summer of their owners airs, in case of death of the owner, under the rules of the common inheritance law, there is here the possibility to transmit by exchange, donation or purchase, or if you can not buy another home ownership.
